1070 Aluminum sheet

1070 aluminium sheet is used to manufacture some structural parts with specific properties. It has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good conductivity and thermal conductivity.

1) Chemical constituents:

Cu：0.04

Mn：0.03

Mg：0.03

Zn：0.04

Ti：0.03

V：0.05

Al：99.7

2) Application:

1070 aluminium sheet has the characteristics of high plasticity, corrosion resistance, good conductivity and thermal conductivity, but its strength is low. It is not strengthened by heat treatment, and its cutting property is not good. Contact welding and gas welding are acceptable. Making use of its advantages to manufacture some structural parts with specific performance, such as gaskets and capacitors made of aluminium foil, isolation network of electronic tubes, protective sheath of wires, cables, nets, wiring cores and parts and decorative parts of aircraft ventilation system.

3) Heat treatment process:

Oil quenching and tempering. The strength of this kind of steel wire is not as good as that of lead bath treated steel wire, but its performance is uniform and its cost is low. After cold coil forming, the stress is removed. Draw to the specified size, then annealing. After the softened cold coil is formed, the required mechanical properties can be obtained only after quenching and tempering at medium temperature.
