1100 Aluminum sheet

1100 is industrial pure aluminium, the content of aluminium (mass fraction) is 99.00%, which can not be strengthened by heat treatment. It has high corrosion resistance, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, low density, good plasticity, and can produce various kinds of aluminium materials by pressure processing, but its strength is low. Other technological properties are basically the same as 1050A. 1100 is usually used to require good formability, high corrosion resistance and high strength, such as food and chemical handling and storage equipment, sheet metal products, hollow hardware processed by spinning with drawing goods, welding combination keys, reflectors, nameplates, etc.

1100 aluminium strip belongs to pure aluminium sheet series, its strength is relatively low, and it has excellent ductility, formability, weldability and corrosion resistance; after anodizing, it can further improve the corrosion resistance and obtain beautiful surface; but it can not be strengthened by heat treatment.

Pure aluminium plate series determines the minimum aluminium content of this series according to the last two Arabic numbers, such as the last two Arabic numbers of 1100 series is 00. According to the principle of international brand naming, aluminium content must reach 99.00% or more before qualified products. Our country's aluminium alloy technical standard (GB/T3880-2012) also clearly stipulates that the aluminium content of 1100 reaches 99.0%.

2) Application：

1100 aluminium strips are generally used in appliances, radiators, bottle caps, printed boards, building materials, heat exchanger components, and can also be used as deep stamping products. It is widely used in various fields, from cooking utensils to industrial equipment.

The national standard for aluminium sheet and strip (GB/T 3880-2012) is applicable to the unified standard for aluminium alloy sheet and strip materials.
