7050 Aluminium sheet


7050 aluminium sheet is a high strength heat-treated alloy, with extremely high strength, anti-spalling corrosion and anti-stress corrosion cracking properties. Usually used in aircraft structural parts for medium and heavy plate extrusion, free forging and die forging. The requirements for manufacturing this kind of parts are: anti-stripping corrosion, anti-stress corrosion cracking, fracture toughness and anti-fatigue performance.

Zinc is the main alloy element of 7075 series aluminium alloy. Adding magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-75% zinc can form MgZn2 with remarkable strengthening effect. The heat treatment effect of this alloy is much better than that of Al-Zn binary alloy. With the increase of zinc and magnesium content in the alloy, the tensile hardness will be further improved, but its resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will decrease. After heat treatment, the alloy can achieve very high strength. In this system, 7075-T651 aluminium alloy is regarded as the best product of aluminium alloy. Its strength is higher than that of soft steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anodic reaction. It is mainly used in aerospace, die processing, machinery and equipment, fixture, especially for aircraft manufacturing structure and other requirements of high strength and resistance. High stress structure with strong corrosion resistance.

 

1 ) Chemical composition:

Al: allowance

Cr: ≤0.04

Zr: 0.08~0.15

Zn: 5.7~6.7

Si: ≤0.12

Fe: 0.000~0.150

Mn: ≤0.10

Mg: 1.9~2.6

Ti: ≤0.06

Cu: 2.0~2.6

 

2 ) Technical formula:

Aluminum sheet. It is customary in the world to call aluminium sheet or aluminium sheet with thickness over 0.2 mm, width below 500 mm, width above 200 mm and length less than 16 m, foil below 0.2 mm and layout or strip within 200 mm width (of course, with the progress of large equipment, the width of Panzhu can reach 600 mm layout is more). Aluminum rod, diameter: 3-500 mm aluminium tube, thickness: 2-500 mm

Aluminum sheet weight (kg) = 0.00271 x thickness x width x Length

Aluminum tube weight (kg) = 0.00879 x wall thickness x (outer diameter - wall thickness) x length

The formula of aluminium bar weight (kg) = 0.0022 x diameter x diameter x Length

 

3 ) Other properties:

Density: 2.83g/cm3 (0.102 lb/in3) at 20 () C.

Annealing temperature: 415℃ (775℉)

Solution temperature: 475℃ (890℉)

Aging temperature: 120-175℃ (250-350℉)
