2A12 aluminium sheet

2A12 aluminium sheet is a kind of high strength hard aluminium, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has moderate plasticity in annealing, hardening and hot state, good spot welding performance, and the tendency to form intergranular cracks in gas welding and argon arc welding. The alloy has good machinability after quenching and cold work hardening, and poor annealing performance. The corrosion resistance is not high. Anodic oxidation treatment and painting method or aluminium coating on the surface are often used to improve the corrosion resistance.

Aircraft structure (skin, skeleton, rib beam, partition frame, etc.), rivets, missile components, truck hub, propeller components and other structural components.

Aluminum sheet weight (kg) = 0.00271 x thickness x width x Length

Aluminum tube weight (kg) = 0.00879 x wall thickness x (outer diameter - wall thickness) x length

Aluminium bar (kg) = 0.0022 x diameter x diameter x Length
