3A21 Aluminum sheet

3A21 aluminium sheet is Al-Mn alloy, 3A21 aluminium sheet is one of the most widely used anti-rust aluminium, its strength is not high (only slightly higher than that of industrial pure aluminium), and can not be strengthened by heat treatment, so cold working method is often used to improve its mechanical properties; it has high plasticity in annealing state, good plasticity in Semi-cold work hardening, low plasticity in cold work hardening, good corrosion resistance, good weldability and poor machinability.

2) Application:

Uses are mainly used for low-load parts which require high plasticity and good weldability and work in liquid or gas media, such as oil tank, gasoline or lubricant conduit, various liquid containers and other small-load parts made by deep drawing: wire rods are used as rivets. The formability, dissolution and corrosion resistance of 3003 aluminium sheet are good. For processing, parts with good formability, high corrosion and weldability are required, or work with higher strength than 1XXX alloy is required, such as kitchenware, food and chemical products processing and storage devices, tanks and tanks for transporting liquid products, and roll-off of various pressure vessels and pipes, radiators, cosmetic plates and photocopiers processed with thin plates. 3) Specification for heat treatment:

1、 Homogenization annealing: heating 510-520 C; holding for 4-6 h; air cooling. 

2、 Rapid annealing: heating 350-410 C; holding time 30-120 min with different material effective thickness; air or water cooling. 

3、High temperature annealing: heating 350-500 C; when the thickness of finished product is more than 6 mm, holding time is 10-30 min, < 6 mm, heat permeability is up; air cooling. 

4、 Low temperature annealing: heating 250-300 C; holding time 1-3 h; air or water cooling.
