No.4 and HL belongs to the finish of stainless steel after processing ,.And they are all stainless steel surface drawing process.

In China,the No.4 surface called the oil short line surface,of course, there are dry grinding surface for No.4 surface also. We called the HL surface oil long line surface, of course, there are dry grinding surface HL surface also. However, the lack of both processing methods are different.

For No.4 surface:Honed with 150-180 grit abrasive belt products. It has better brightness with discontinuous coarse grain, fine stripes than NO.3. Stainless steel castings used for sanding and polishing the surface.This finish is widely used in Bathroom, building exterior decoration materials, electrical appliances, kitchen equipment and food equipment

For HL surface:Polishing abrasive belt with a suitable size (150 to 320 mesh), so No.4 generates continuous hairline brushed surface.

This finish is widely used in Architectural decoration, elevators,building doors,etc.
